Welcome!

We are glad you took the time out of your day to visit our page, and we hope you can learn something while you're here. This website was made for the purpose of educating individuals in a different, less conventional way than most are used to. As technology has improved, there has been certain aspects of our lives that have become easier to navigate, while other aspects have been worsened.

Our approach with this website is to educate individuals through concepts, rather than through the strict memorization of material to help them understand the world in a more well-rounded way. Humans are constantly changing, so why haven't we altered the education system to match our shortened attention spans and higher technology use? These are the types of questions we hope to unpack to let you all form your own opinions. We are not trying to give anyone an opinion, rather we want to give you all of the tools to formulate your own. I know it's corny, but you shouldn't be a follower when it comes to opinions. You have to take control of your own life and be your own person with unique perspectives.

Don't get manipulated by the world around you because you aren't educated on how it works. Every website you visit and every television channel you watch has an agenda to manipulate you into watching their advertisements or into buying their products. We hope to be a place that allows you to take a break from this constant overwhelming cycle to catch your breath and open your eyes. Our motto for this website and the content provided is: Food for thought. We hope to get the gears in your brain turning in a world where so many people get theirs turned off by someone else without even knowing.

All About Us

Hello, my name is Cole, and I decided to start this website and business as a way to help as many individuals as possible obtain a more well-rounded education. I am a "Jack-of-all-trades," meaning that I am talented at more things than the average person, but I fail to excel exceedingly in one category. It was a great trait to have in grade school when I was still trying to figure out what I should do later in life, but it was frustrating as time went on when I saw friends who found what they were deeply passionate about. They got scholarships to schools they knew they would like and already figured out exactly where they wanted to work after college, while I was drowning in my thoughts. I had no internal compass guiding me where to go. I had a more logical thinking style where I would have to weigh the Pros and Cons of each argument to determine what I would think would be best for me. Unfortunately for me, it is not possible to weigh Pros and Cons about 5,000 jobs I am not aware even exist, or to find out what college would be best for me in the middle of Covid-19 chaos. With the help of several individuals I trust and confide in, I have been able to clear most of the brain fog and scattered thoughts young adults will inevitably have. I am trying to help as many of you as possible to do the same, starting with the basics, then progressing based on where you are at.

I am currently finishing up my bachelor's degree in Political Science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, along with a minor in sociology. I was admitted as a Math major freshman year, but switched to Political Science in the middle of sophomore year because I was unhappy with the person I was turning into. For the first time in my life, I knew I was in desperate need of a major life change. I didn't quite know if politics was the right thing for me, but I knew math definitely wasn't. After realizing I use an analytical approach to many things in life, I started to adopt a new way of figuring out what life's next biggest decision would be. Rather than hoping things will figure themselves out, or searching for a needle in a haystack, I began to simply rule out what I knew wasn't for me. After years of ruling out numerous future career paths, I began to notice that I enjoyed doing a little bit of everything. Some people can work 8 straight hours in an office for 40 years of their life without developing severe mental illnesses, but I don't think I would be able to. Personally, I don't think anyone should have a job that requires you to be a robot your whole life. Now I know a lot of that is out of our control because we didn't have white curly wigs and wear tights 250 years ago, but having a well-rounded education will most definitely give you more opportunities than the rest of the workforce stuck in zombieland.

Nonetheless, I'm aiming to use my knowledge to give others a better insight into the world around them. The website is not aimed to make conspiracy theorists or only show depressing content. I want to create a balance to the polarized world around us. There are some people who are entitled and only deal with emotional problems, while others are self-less, but deal with financial problems. Instead of attacking the other side, you should learn to see how you and society can benefit from learning about their perspective. By listening to others with an honest and true mind, you can learn a lot more than if you have an angry conversation with someone who won't even consider your side of a story. I am just hoping you can take that same approach when exploring this website. I am not trying to influence you, I am trying to allow yourself to influence yourself, before someone else does it for you.
