Get Involved With Your Community

01
Educate Yourself
As we have said several times throughout this website, educating yourself is the easiest way to help out your local community. Education brings opportunity, and opportunity allows for the growth of communication and wealth. Help out your community in the ways which you feel is right, not what others are telling you to do.
02
Support Local Businesses
I encourage you to support your local businesses whenever you have the chance. I'm not telling you to completely give up buying products from big corporations. I just suggest adding a balance your buying routine. I'm sure you are as sick of billionaires as the rest of us are. Help spread out the wealth by purchasing local items from your local community. Supporting local businesses will strengthen your community, while simultaneously weakening the mega-rich.

03
Be a Kiss-Ass to the Elderly and Youth
There has been a recent rise in polarization between different age classes. Being overly nice to both the elderly and the youth will help to shorten this gap and allow for other groups to have faith in the future. Having a nice conversation with the elderly or playing with a kid at the park might be just what they needed to respect your age group. Additionally, older people have experience and connections you might need in the future. At the end of the day, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. That should be the bare minimum.
04
Limit Phone Time in Public
I'm not going to sit here and tell you to never go on your phone, I am just trying to help bring humanity back in control. Interactions have diminished greatly since the introduction of cellphones. Instead of enjoying the outside, or free time, we are just filling it in with phone time. It's harder to start interactions or build connections with people in public when your attention is focused almost solely on the screen. I'm just encouraging you all to limit the time you are on your phone when you have the opportunity to stumble across a nice social interaction.
